Website terms.

Last updated: 7 August 2026

These terms govern your use of cescales.uk. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

These terms cover the website only. If you become a client, the services we provide are governed by a separate Client Services Agreement, which takes precedence over these terms.

1. Who runs this site

CEScales is the trading name of Carl Sarvan.

  • Address: College Road, The Brigue, Taunton TA2 6LX
  • Email: info@cescales.uk

2. Using the site

You may use this site for lawful purposes only. You must not:

  • use it in any way that breaks applicable law
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server, or any connected system
  • introduce malicious code, or attempt to interfere with the site's operation
  • scrape, copy, or systematically extract content except as ordinary search-engine indexing
  • use any content for a commercial purpose without our written permission

We may suspend or withdraw access to the site, or to anyone breaching these terms, without notice.

3. Our content

All content on this site — text, design, graphics, logos, images, video, and code — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other rights.

You may view it, and print or download extracts, for your own information or to evaluate our services. You may not reproduce, republish, or exploit it commercially without our written permission.

Case studies, performance figures, and client examples describe past work. They are not a promise or forecast of results you would achieve. Advertising performance depends on your products, pricing, offer, website, market, and the platform itself.

4. Information on this site

We try to keep the site accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that it is. Nothing on this site is professional advice — commercial, legal, financial, or otherwise — and you should not rely on it as such. If you want advice for your own situation, contact us and we will discuss it properly.

Prices, packages, and service descriptions on this site are an invitation to discuss, not a binding offer. What we actually agree is set out in the Client Services Agreement.

5. The site itself

We provide this site "as is". We do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, or free of errors or viruses. You are responsible for the security of your own device and connection.

6. Links

Where we link to other websites, we do so for information only. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data.

You may link to our home page provided you do so fairly, lawfully, and in a way that does not suggest any association or endorsement that does not exist. We may withdraw permission at any time.

7. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable to any business user for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of revenue, business interruption, loss of anticipated savings, or loss of goodwill arising out of use of this site or reliance on its content.

These terms apply to business users. If you are a consumer, you have statutory rights that these terms do not affect.

8. Privacy

We handle personal data as described in our Privacy Policy and use cookies as described in our Cookie Policy.

9. Changes

We may change these terms at any time by updating this page. Please check it when you use the site. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.

10. Law

These terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them, including any non-contractual dispute, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
